Telehealth Consent

Telehealth services are provided in accordance with applicable state and federal regulations. Use of this website alone does not establish a provider–patient relationship. A provider–patient relationship is formed only after a licensed clinician completes a clinical review and obtains appropriate consent.

1. What Telehealth Is
  • Care provided via secure audio, video, and electronic communications

  • Includes messaging and remote review of health information

  • Telehealth services are provided only when the patient is physically located in a state where the ReNouvele™ provider is appropriately licensed at the time care is delivered

2. Limitations of Telehealth
  • Telehealth is not appropriate for emergencies

  • Some medical conditions may require in-person evaluation or care

  • Alternative options, including in-person care or referral, may be recommended when telehealth is not clinically appropriate

3. Technology & Privacy
  • Care is delivered using secure telehealth platforms

  • Reasonable privacy safeguards are in place; however, no system can guarantee absolute security

  • Telehealth services may involve the electronic transmission of personal health information, which is protected in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA

4. Emergency Care
  • Telehealth services are not intended for urgent or emergent medical issues

  • If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or seek immediate medical care

5. Consent
  • By using ReNouvele™ services, the patient acknowledges understanding the benefits and limitations of telehealth

  • The patient voluntarily consents to receive care via telemedicine

  • The patient may withdraw consent for telehealth services at any time and request alternative care options where available
